About this policy
This policy explains what information the NY Musky Expo (“NYME,” “we”) collects through nymuskyexpo.com, how we use it, and the outside services involved. Questions? Email Newyorkmuskyexpo@gmail.com.
Information you give us
We only collect personal information you choose to send us. That happens through four website forms and by email:
- Contact form – your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic you pick and your message.
- Become an Exhibitor – your business and contact name, email, phone, city and state or province, website and social media, and the details you provide about your products, exhibit space and setup needs.
- Become a Sponsor – your business or organization name, contact name, email, phone, website and social media, and what you tell us about your organization and how you’d like to participate.
- Share Your Experience – your name, city and state, your comments about the Expo, and whether you give us permission to share them.
- Email requests – advance ticket and Lure Swap table requests are sent by email from your own email program. They include whatever you write, such as your name, phone number, email address, ticket quantities and whether you qualify for the military, veteran or first responder discount.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and messages.
- To review exhibitor and sponsor requests and follow up with you about them.
- To handle advance ticket and Lure Swap table requests.
- To feature visitor comments, only as described below.
Where form submissions go
Our website runs on Squarespace. When you submit a form, Squarespace stores the submission in our website account and sends an email notification to the NYME inbox. Emails you send us are received in our Gmail inbox. Squarespace’s handling of this data is described in the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
Visitor comments and testimonials
The Share Your Experience form asks whether NYME may share your comments on our website and social media. We only consider publishing comments when you’ve given that permission. If you change your mind, email us.
Outside services
- Squarespace hosts the website, stores form submissions and provides basic visitor statistics.
- Google reCAPTCHA helps protect our forms from spam. Its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Adobe Fonts supplies some of the typefaces used on the site.
- Links to other websites – our pages link to vendors, sponsors, the host hotel’s booking site, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Cookies and analytics
Squarespace uses cookies that help the website work and that power Squarespace Analytics, which gives us general statistics such as how many people visit and which pages they view. We do not currently use Google Analytics or advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Squarespace lists the cookies it uses in its cookie information.
Your choices
You don’t have to give us any information to browse the website. If you have a question or request about information you’ve sent us, email Newyorkmuskyexpo@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
